myself and Loon Lodge to you. Loon Lodge is located
in Zone 4, the most remote zone in Maine for moose hunts
and nobody knows this area better than us. Our lodge
is the only lodge that is located in the center of this
remote zone |

We built our lodge and cabins over the years since
1984. We live here, work here and know this area better
than any other outfitter or guide. If you are thinking
of hunting with somebody else in this zone consider
this. Why stay in a remote tent camp or drive for hours
from the nearest town when you can relax in a comfortable,
warm, cozy cabin, enjoy hot showers and hunt with the
guides that live here and know the area better that
anybody |
| Our hunts are limited to only three guided hunts and
two unguided hunts. Over the years we have taken many
fine bulls with the largest having a 60 inch spread.
Our experienced guides do not drive you around (road
hunt), and look for moose, they scout ahead of time
and know where the moose haunts are. We then take you
to these areas and call them in for you |

Guided Moose Hunt includes Lodging in a private cabin,
all your meals, and an experienced guide who will take
you out one on one to the hunting areas in his vehicle
and then dress and handle getting your moose out. We
also include transportation to town for tagging, skinning
and quartering of your moose. Seven nights stay and
six full days of hunting |
Fully Guided Moose Hunt:
- $2350 + $36.75 state sales tax
- Non-Hunter/Subpermittee Rate $525 + $36.75 state sales
tax
Rate includes lodging for a full six day hunt (arrive Sunday
leave Sunday).
All meals included starting with Supper the day you arrive
and ending with
breakfast the day you depart. Guide service includes all
local
transportation, daylight till dark hunting, field care of
your moose,
transportation into town for tagging and quartering your
moose.
Unguided Moose Hunts:
- American Plan (includes lodging and
meals for seven nights)
$525 + $36.75 state sales tax/person
- Semi-American Plan (includes lodging
and suppers in the lodge for seven
nights)
$445 + $31.15 state sales tax/person
- Housekeeping Plan (includes lodging
for seven nights)
$300 + $21.00 state sales tax/person
